The Ski Center at the reservation includes a 1,650-foot chairlift slope enhanced by machine made snow. The Visitors Center has a wood fire in the lounge, a snack bar, a shop that sells and rents skiing equipment, and the ski school. Campgaw Mountain is the closest ski area to New York City, just 18 miles north of the George Washington Bridge. It features night skiing, snowboarding, and snow tubing.

Hike the Loop Trail past an attractive pond to the summit of Mount Campgaw and enjoy the vistas of Bergen County and the New York City skyline. This easy to moderate hike is about 3 miles and is only one of the paths along the 7 miles of hiking trails.
